How does BFast pick a courier for my shipment?

Smart routing evaluates every order against three variables before choosing a courier: serviceability, price, and expected delivery SLA.

The three variables

  • Serviceability. Is the destination pincode covered by that courier? For Tier-4 towns, India Post is often the only choice.
  • Price. The routing engine reads your rate card and picks the cheapest courier that meets the SLA target.
  • Delivery SLA. Same-day metro delivery? Delhivery. Rural Rs 300 book? India Post. B2B pallet to a distributor? Ekart FTL.

Overrides

You can override smart routing per-order by setting a preferred courier at booking time, or disable it entirely from Settings → Courier Preferences.

One AWB, one dashboard

Every routed shipment gets one AWB regardless of which courier ends up carrying it. Tracking is consolidated in the BFast dashboard.
